With Google Sheets, you can organize massive ranges of Cells super easy, thanks to the ability to name your ranges. Learn how to do so in just a few easy steps.
Step #1: Highlight the Range
First, you will need to highlight the range within your table that you would like to name. In the top-left corner, you will see the cell range within a box to the left of the function window.
It is here that you will be able to rename the range.
Step #2: Apply Named Range
As you can see, when you type in the word Loan, the entire preselected cell range is selected. This is useful for big picture equations, not to mention setting a print range.
If you enter and drag the cells, you can see that the cells are completely identical to the selected range.
And there you have it; that is how you name your ranges in Google Sheets, and simplify your cell references.
